INTERLUDE - The Time Got Away From Me But I Think It's Gonna Be Okay

Let's see if I prove myself right.

Welcome to The Interlude! I wish I had a cool trippy graphic to introduce The Interlude, but unfortunately that would take a lot of time to make and the whole purpose of The Interlude is to be a stand-in for the newsletter because the time got away from me but I think it’s gonna be okay! I have an idea of how to make the newsletter come out TOMORROW and be really awesome. The really awesome thing about it is going to be so small and silly yet monumental in terms of helping me reconcile my lateness.

The first Bad Press house show of 2026 is this Saturday - I’ll talk about it more tomorrow but it is shaping up to be cozy, sweet, and well-attended. I’m really excited to get back into the swing of things! In the meantime, I’ve been making some video essays, which you can check out here if you feel so inclined.

More thoughts and show info to come, but I have to get back to doing my real job that I am currently on the clock getting paid to do! Oh, and if everyone who reads this wants to comment “Happy Birthday Casey!!!” or something along those lines, that would be great. Casey is a dear friend and loyal reader, and I’m happy she’s here.
